i know i haven't been very active in discord lately!! i miss y'all. and there's some new folks who appeared who probably have no idea who i am! i think that's wild.
new in my life:
me and my boyfriend are buying a new house! the offer we made is contingent on us selling our current place, so hopefully everything goes smoovely.
after the move i might have to keep a job for a little bit to help pay for things, but once that period of time elapses i can return to my State of Home: delightfully and intentionally unemployed. i am looking forward to artwork pouring out of me like a river. until then it's mostly job and then videogames to unwind from job.
having money is very funny, mostly because i think so little of it (i am very lucky and fortunate to have a s/o who covers all basic living expenses). it is wild to me how quickly i was able to amass a bank account with five tousand dollars in it (3 months-ish). i am thinking of saving up a surplus of An Appropriate Amount and then commissioning patricia taxxon to produce the music for my debut album, which has been fully written for a long time now. i thought i'd teach myself how to make music more Professionally[TM], but maybe later. i think i moreso just want the album to exist first.
ALTERNATIVELY i could save up an appropriate amount of money and then do the world's first ever JURP, where i spend money to have an artfriend (one of you??) come to my house for a sleepover and we bang out a videogame while i cover your rent and utilities, etc. etc.
ALTERNATIVELY i don't save up any money and quit having a job ASAP so that i can get back to ultra creative mode. the possibilities are endless. i could even do some other fourth thing.
P.S. there is supposed to be a Read More... after "new in my life: " but when i click preview post it's a horizontal bar instead. who knows what the truth is! but damnit i'm hitting Send Post. i'm diving headfirst into the unknown with reckless abandon
